The artist line-up will be further supplemented as the Festival approaches.

“It is exciting to see how our festival gets more popular among visitors every year, growing by its quality and also its volume. At the same time, we manage to retain its financial affordability and interest to wide audiences. This year we are also working hard to create the content and are planning to expand the festival both beyond its space and time, delighting the citizens of Liepāja and its guests not only from all over Latvia, but also from neighbouring countries,” Festival Director Uldis Pabērzis, about the plans for Summer Sound 2018.

In 2018 the eighth Summer Sound Festival will take place and it has certainly become one of the most important summer music events in the Baltics. Thousands of visitors prove it, because each year they travel to the wonderful Liepaja beach to enjoy two days of musical fun and relaxation right on the seaside. Every year the festival features more than 50 artists, providing a diverse entertainment and activity programme.
